honestly, the room was smaller than expected, almost cramped. i booked a "double room", but it reminded me of a single. getting around the bed was quite the obstacle course. the noise from outside was relentless. it was as if i was trying to sleep next to a busy motorway.. lovely.

i found the hotel to be very modern. its decor is tasteful and the cleanliness is great everywhere! the staff are all so polite and helpful. a shuttle bus goes into the city, great for a day out, especially if the castle is open (so exciting!). i liked the room with a balcony and a river view. it was very comfortable!

i noticed in the ladies' toilet downstairs, there were two hand basins, but only one had a tap. this was a minor inconvenience in an otherwise lovely stay.

The food in the brasserie was excellent, and the market kitchen provides self-service options. Breakfast was very good (the sausages especially!). brasserie 32 offers a great dining experience with presented meals served to the table. the service charge is applied, though discretionary.

The rooms are tastefully decorated, also the social areas. rooms have lovely views, with options overlooking the river. the beds are comfortable and long and wide, and rooms feature balconies. Accessible rooms have some limitations. the rooms are recently renovated.

the hotel's location is just by the river, providing lovely walking opportunities. it has easy access to london and nearby towns. the hotel is close to attractions and offers convenient access to local points of interest (i enjoyed my visit!).

the staff are very friendly and always attentive to your needs, from the gate staff to the reception desk (usmem was particularly helpful). the entertainment options are great, and staff ensure all food is served hot and on time. i thought the spa was lovely too.

The casual dining facilities were excellent. I enjoyed the good selection of salads sandwiches and snacks. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I found the spa facilities very good. They were relaxing.

the grounds were nicely kept, a feature i appreciated. the rear of the hotel backs into the thames and it was relaxing to watch the boats go through the lock. the staff were friendly.

i found the level of customer service disappointing. the receptionist looked dismissive when i asked where we could sit for coffee. ordering lunch was difficult since the menu was quite limited.

My stay included many positive experiences. The location near the river provided A peaceful backdrop. The staff members were always friendly and ready to help guests. I liked the spa facilities. Everything felt clean and well maintained.

I noticed some tables in the restaurant seemed very close together.
